Biography

Sharon Barkan is a teacher in the Department of Management, with a rich teaching experience
in the field of Organizational Behavior.
She teaches Organizational Psychology and Stress & Burnout at the graduate and
undergraduate levels in The Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management. In addition, she teaches in the Faculty of Engineering Sciences in the following departments: Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Systems and Structural engineering.
She has won departmental teaching excellence awards (2008-2012) and a faculty teaching
excellence award (2013).
Sharon has a B.A. in Behavioral Sciences (1996), an M.A. in Organizational Psychology (1999)
and a Ph.D in Business Administration (2007) from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Research Interest:
Stress and Burnout, Work Motivation, Human Resource Management and Career Development.
