Biography
UW Professional & Continuing Education
Shannon Tang is a PMP-certified project manager with over 10 years of experience managing enterprise-level and capital projects in the non-profit healthcare industry. As a project/program manager at Public Health-Seattle & King County, Tang leads initiatives for the Jail Health Services division, ranging from the establishing teleradiology services to standardizing of project management processes, tools and training.
Before public health, Tang managed capital building projects and new site and program implementations for a federally qualified community health center. Additionally, Tang was a course developer for the 320 and 330 courses of the UW Certificate in Project Management. Shannon holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University School of Information.
