Selin Kudret

Dr Selin Kudret is an Associate Professor in Leadership at Henley Business School. She is the Academic Lead and Programme Director for the British Army's Higher Education Pathway (AHEP) programme.

She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour from King's College London. She had worked in various managerial roles in multinational organisations for a decade prior to her academic career. Selin held lectureship positions at King's College London and Kingston University before joining Henley Business School. She is the Academic Lead for the British Army's Higher Education Pathway programme. Selin is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and an academic member of the CIPD.

Her research looks into the broader fit between individuals and organisations. In particular, she investigates various employee experiences in organisations (e.g. onboarding in the digital era, personality traits, corporate social responsibility, female leadership) and the outcomes of these experiences for employees and organisations. To date, she published in top-tier academic and practitioner outlets, such as the Journal of Organisational Behavior, Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review and Human Resource Management Journal. She has a passionate interest in advanced quantitative research methods and uses them in her research projects and consultancy practices.

Selin regularly collaborates with industry for various research and consultancy projects in the UK and internationally. Her collaborators include multinational and national organisations, such as Standard Chartered Bank and the UK's Post Office.
