Sarosh Asad is an Assistant Professor (2021-present) at the Department of Innovation Management & Strategy, in the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen.

She completed her Ph.D. in Strategic Leadership (2021) at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. Her research focuses on the influence of strategic leaders such as CEOs, top executives, and boards of directors on strategic decisions and organizational outcomes. During her Ph.D. studies, she was a visiting scholar at WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management (Germany). Her work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Product Innovation Management and Leadership.

She has served as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Academy of Management Conference (STR division), Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility, Global Strategy Journal, Group & Organization Management, Gender, Work, & Organization, Journal of Business Research, Industry & Innovation, and Management & Organization Review.
