Biography

Telfer School of Management

Saouré Kouamé is an assistant professor of Strategy. He holds a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Business Administration, in the field of management, from HEC Montréal. His research work focuses on the practices and success factors of organizational strategy. His current projects deal with the emotions of senior executives (CEOs, executive partners, boards of directors) in strategic processes and practices, and with strategic practices in philanthropic organizations (corporate, private and public). Thus, he examines how they use strategy to create social value. His writing has been or will be published in the Strategic Management Journal, the Journal of Business Ethics, Management Decision and Gestion. He was awarded a Best Paper Award 2017 by the Strategy Division of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC).
