Sanjay Peters

Sanjay is a leading expert on sustainable infrastructure investment and its impact on economic growth and development. He has worked as an economic and financial advisor to the foreign office of the UK Government, the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, the Ministry of Finance, Government of Peru, the Government of Spain, the World Bank, the United Nations, the Asian Development Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. In parallel to his career as an entrepreneur, as co-founder and Director of Kan, Emergia Partners, Infrencia in Spain and Youreko in the UK, throughout his professional career he has held various academic positions as an associate professor of economics at Copenhagen Business School, Columbia University and as Visiting Professor at Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Japan, ESADE and IESE Business Schools, in Barcelona, Spain, where he also served as Director of the Center for Emerging Markets. He has also provided advisory service to a number of FT 500 companies, and to various government ministries within Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge, UK.
