Sandra is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and of Villanova University with a Master of Public Administration. After working in social work for several years, she began her career in municipal government as the Special Projects Coordinator and later the Assistant Township Manager at Doylestown Township. After 7 years at Doylestown, Sandra left and was appointed as Chalfont Borough Manager, a position she held for 5 years. Sandra was hired to lead the team at Upper Gwynedd Township in April 2019. She is currently a member of the Villanova MPA Diversity Committee and served until her move to Montgomery County as the President of the Bucks County Consortium of Communities and previously served on the Executive Board of the Association for Pennsylvania Municipal Management. Sandra is a strong believer in the importance of local government and has an open-door policy for all residents and staff. She and her husband, Will, reside in Doylestown with their 2 sons, Will and Nolan.
