Sandra King guides the mentoring program for Health Sector MBA students. Second year students in the Health Sector Program are connected with in-dustry professionals who offer guidance, advice and counsel during the course of an academic year. King lectures in service marketing, consumer behavior and health sector marketing in the Questrom School of Business.

Additionally she is the founder and principal of STKing Associates, LLC, a marketing strategy firm that specializes in working with clients to develop effective and impactful marketing programs. Sandra was Vice President for Marketing, Communication and Public Affairs at Bentley University. As the chief marketing, communications, and public affairs officer, she was respon-sible for all aspects of the institution’s marketing, including marketing re-search, strategy development, advertising, events management, community and media relations, publications, the web and other social media communi-cations as well as the management of external agencies and strategic part-ners. During her tenure she implemented a multi-faceted marketing plan for the college that includes a co-branding partnership with Time Magazine, an annual leadership conference that featured national and international partic-ipants as speakers and attendees, a national and international advertising campaign, the creation of the Tomorrow25- the next generation of Leaders global competition, the redesign of all communication tools and the devel-opment of several strategic partnerships with leading area organizations.

Sandra was previously vice president of University Relations at Northeastern University. She was responsible for the development and positioning of the Northeastern University brand worldwide. Under her leadership she imple-mented a highly successful strategic partnership with the Boston Red Sox, as well as a comprehensive national and international public relations and advertising campaign. As vice president for marketing at Babson College, she directed the global positioning of the college through public relations, publications, advertising, market research, special events, summer camps and other strategic programs. Sandra produced the communications for Babson’s $150 million comprehensive capital campaign.

Previously, Sandra was a management consultant with Arthur D. Little, Inc. She served on the Board of Overseers for WGBH, New England Baptist Hospital, The Museum of African American History and is a Trustee of REACH, an organization dedicated to eliminating domestic violence. She was a national trustee of the YWCA of the USA and is past chair of the Boston YWCA board. She served on the Academic Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees of Milton Academy and was co-Chair of the Parents’ Association. A naturalized U.S. citizen, Sandra spent her childhood years in Jamaica. She is the mother of three adult children and lives in the Greater Boston area with her husband. She is an avid tennis player and an aspiring golfer.
