Mendoza College of Business

Professor Collins teaches courses in conflict management, persuasion, negotiation, business speaking, business writing, and sustainability reporting to undergraduates and MBA candidates in the Mendoza College of Business. Her publications include Communication in a Virtual Organization (Thompson South-Western, 2003), Managing Conflict and Workplace Relationships (Thompson South-Western, 2007), Listening and Responding (Thompson South-Western, 2005), and Persuasion (Thompson South-Western, 2009). With a background in social psychology, she specializes in inter-group interaction, conflict management, and persuasive communication. Outside of academics, she has worked as a licensed financial services broker and as a purchasing agent, and has owned a small business.
