Sander van ‘t Foort is a research fellow and PhD candidate at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. His PhD concentrates on the effectiveness of so-called National Contact Points of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development. Other research activities relate to natural capital, working conditions in global supply chains and green finance.
Sander studied business administration and constitutional and administrative law (cum laude). During his study period, he followed various honour programs such as the Young Leaders League and Excellent Master Track. He worked as an intern at, amongst others, the United Nations in New York and was a national board member of a political youth organization. In 2013, Sander was awarded a place on the DJ100 (a list of the 100 most inspiring sustainable youngsters, published in Dutch newspaper NRC Next).
Sander regularly publishes articles on CSR and sustainability within corporate law and environmental law.
Other positions
In addition to his activities at Nyenrode, Sander lectures on international and European labour law at the Ede Christian University of Applied Sciences and is politically active at the local, regional and national level.
