A highly successful and experienced professional who has built, over a 30 year career, a very broad range of skills. Worked as a Corporate Financier before transitioning to become a lawyer with a special focus on emerging markets, M&A, project finance. Has advised some of the world's leading business and financial houses including those from high growth markets. Recognised as having a deep knowledge of the India market. Played a number of executive management roles at Linklaters, a premier global law firm including as member of the Executive Committee and also managed the firm's Emerging Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Responsible for developing the firm's India and Africa practices into market leading businesses. Has now developed a career in the not-for-profit sector and is the Chair (Designate) of the Octavia Group and the charity Bail for Immigration Detainees. He also is a Trustee of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Childrens' Charity and serves on the board of the Mowgli Foundation mentoring charity. Also has been a Trustee on the Board of WaterAid UK and WaterAid International.
