Salvo Testa is SDA Professor and Lecturer in Business Strategy at Bocconi University in Milan, where he graduated in 1981. In 1982 he obtained the International Teachers Program at the Stockholm School of Economics. Since 1981 he has been the creator and manager of the Fashion, Luxury & Lifestyle Platform, an interdisciplinary research and training project aimed at managers and professionals in the sector. Since 1994 he has been a lecturer in Fashion Management and since 2000 in charge of the Fashion & Design Management Path at the Bocconi Graduate School. In the last 17 years he has dedicated himself to research, training and management consulting on the issues of competitive strategy and organizational change in numerous companies in the sector, nationally and internationally. Her Fashion Management publications include: “The companies of the fashion system” (with Stefania Saviolo, Etas, 2000 and 2005); “Strategic Management of Fashion Companies” (with Stefania Saviolo, Etas, 2001); "Archetypes of partnerships between licensors and licensees" in "Licensing in the Fashion System" (edited by Barbara Giannelli-Stefania Saviolo ", ETAS, 2001;" The specificity of the Italian fashion supply chain "in" Storia d'Italia-Annali 19 - La Moda ”, Einaudi, 2003.
