Biography

Professor Ryan Guggenmos is an assistant professor of accounting at the Johnson Graduate School of Management. His research focuses on how biases in human behavior affect decision processes in accounting contexts. He currently teaches managerial accounting and reporting at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Guggenmos received his PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and his BA from Seattle University. He has been the recipient of many awards, including a Research Advisory Board grant from the Center for Audit Quality. Guggenmos is a certified public accountant, and, prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as an auditor with Deloitte and Touche, LLP.
