Background

Royce West graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and was awarded an MBA from Case Western Reserve. He is also a CFA charter holder.

Royce has over 25 years investmentrelated experience in economics, equities, fixed income, and trading.  He is currently the Director of Equity Research and a Portfolio Manager at a large financial institution and has been teaching the Student Investment Management (SIM) class for both undergraduate and graduate programs since 2003.

Royce resides in Dublin with his wife, Bethany, and four children.

BUSFIN 4228 Stock Market: Student Investment Management

Actionbased course applying valuation techniques and investment strategies to portfolio management and valuation. Prereq: 4211, 4221, BUSMHR 2292 and GPA 3.2 or above. Not open to students with credit for 724.

BUSFIN 7225 Student Stock Market Investment Management

Advanced topics with industry analysis and stock valuation applied to portfolio management. Prereq: 7210 and 7220, or 822. Not open to students with credit for 824.
