Roger Mills

Roger Mills is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Reading. For more than 20 years, he was Professor of Finance and Accounting at Henley Management College, now Henley Business School and, subsequently, a Professor Dr in the VU University, Amsterdam.

Roger has a unique blend of academic and business experience. From his academic studies, all undertaken part-time whilst working, he has a PhD in Finance, a Masters in Management Studies (MBA) and a first degree in Psychology, Sociology and Economics. During the professional part of his career he qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant, Company Secretary and Corporate Treasurer. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, and the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Currently, he is the CEO of his own group of companies and an advisor to a number of organisations at board level.

Roger has consulted to numerous non-financial companies and organisations in many countries around the World. He has also worked extensively with major banks and financial institutions, in corporate and investment banking (including megers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital). Roger has also developed and delivered tailored in-house workshops on private equity, mezzanine finance, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions across Europe, in the Middle East, China, Asia, South America and in the US for a wide range of banks, for-profit private equity organisations, development banks and sovereign funds.
