I am based in: Amsterdam

I am one of the four founders of Halal, a bespoke film production company and photography agency. Together with Gijs Kerbosch, Gijs Determeijer and Olivia Sophie van Leeuwen, I set up the agency in 2005 with the aim to create an environment in which talent could work across documentaries, feature film, photography and commercial work.

My entrepreneurial spirit has pushed Halal from its infancy in the Netherlands to adulthood as a player on the international field. As Managing Director, I am passionate about nurturing and expanding the agency’s growing roster of diverse talent. With a passion for film at my core, I am interested in the intersections between art, culture, music and moving images. Responsible for developing and implementing Halal’s creative vision at various levels, I am on a mission to grow the company in ways which allow for cultural impact and innovative approaches.
