Robin Moore-Chambers

Dr. Robin Moore-Chambers is a multifaceted individual; gifted in the arts as an illustrator, vocalist, musician, and writer. She is also a licensed professional healthcare provider with a social work and social justice background, facilitates diversity workshops, and teaches part-time at local universities and Fordham University in New York.

She began her career in the helping field 30 years ago as a human services professional and social worker. She realized that this background was the best foundational training for what was to come on her unique professional journey. If you know her, you know she genuinely cares about others, values, integrity, loyalty, laughter, social justice, diversity, and faith. She has also learned the importance of self-care, which allows her to serve others with balance, passion, excellence, and joy.

Dr. Robin is also the creator and illustrator of “The Adventures of Dr. Robin SuperShero,” a Children’s animated program featured on YouTube that teaches lessons on Character, Self-esteem, Diversity, and Mental Health. Dr. Robin SuperShero comes to the rescue of hurting children (and their families), helping them to discover their own Super Powers on their unique journeys!

As a clinical therapist, Dr. Robin is present, personable, and skilled with an overall holistic and compassionate approach of empathy and unconditional positive regard for all. Dr. Moore-Chambers always acknowledges that she cannot save the day, but can effectively help you find your places of empowerment and overcome challenges where you begin to feel better after your first session. She specializes in emotional regulation in children/teens, anger management, childhood sexual abuse/trauma recovery, depression, PTSD/anxiety, grief, and self-harm. She believes people can indeed grow, change, be healed, and can AWAKEN to every possibility available… and as your therapist, she is committed to going on this journey with you!
