Biography
Robert Zrihen is an affiliate professor in the Management Control Department of ESCP Europe Paris campus. He is also the Scientific Director of theSpecialisation Programme for Executives " - Management Control" - on the Paris Campus.
After graduating from ESCP, Robert Zrihen started his professional career as controller at Dassault Aircraft Industries.
He then worked in the computer industry, where he held the position of Finance Director for Southern Europe in a U.S. manufacturing firm. He then served as Finance Director for France at a mainframe manufacturer (Amdahl).
In 1994 he developped his career in two directions :
Teaching and research with a post-graduate (DEA) degree and a Doctorate in Management Control (University of Paris IX Dauphine), and a second post-graduate (DEA) in sociology (University of Paris VII). He is interested issues related to management control and the roles of management tools.
As a consultant, he is involved in the implementation of management systems (Performance Scorecards). Finally, with a degree in psychology (University of Paris VII) he advises and supports managers in their personal development.
