Biography

Alberta School of Business

Robert “bobby.t” Tyndale is a digital marketer that believes that people connect through stories. We share these moments through pillar pieces of content from videos to written words, which we learn, play, and consume experiences.

Currently, I run a production agency called Version Me Media that specializes in video production for businesses and organizations. We help share and tell stories that resonate with people.

In my passion and journey of content creation, I have a YouTube channel and podcast where I interview guests, reflect on my experiences, and talk about things I think are cool.

In the non-digital content space, I am one of the founding owners of a niche publication called Melanistic Magazine. Wanting to control our own stories within the local Black community Melanistic Magazine took a “for us by us” framework of telling local community stories.

The Black community has been an essential part of shaping me into who I am today from a youth. Wanting to give back, I am currently sitting on two boards, the Federation of Black Canadians and the Jamaica Association Northern of Alberta. These positions have allowed me to engage with Black Canadians all across the country and within my city. Allowing me to learn how I can serve and advocates for this emerging community.

My newest venture is a tech start-up called Return on Colour, that focuses on interconnecting Black Canadians across the country through a directory highlighting Black professionals, organizations, businesses, freelancers, and organizations.
