Olin Business School

Professor Portnoy joined the adjunct faculty at Olin in 1993. He brings many years of both academic and business experience to the classroom from such diversified areas as communications, management training, organizational development, ethical decision making, and interpersonal conflict resolution.

Research Interests

Author of two books on leadership, Professor Portnoy is now conducting research for a third book that will present methods for assessing and improving presentation skills.

Having just sent two of their own kids off to college, Professor Portnoy and his wife are enjoying their empty nest in their new townhouse. Now there's more free time for eating out, movies, reading, photography, and travel.
