Academic Division: FinanceRobert (Bob) Goodof joined the Babson faculty as a part-time lecturer in the spring of 2016, following a 30 year career as a securities analyst for Eaton Vance (1983-95) and Loomis Sayles (1995-2013), where Bob covered chemical, industrial, oil & gas, environmental, and renewable industries. Bob mentors energy-related startups at MIT, lectured on energy investing at Brandeis, and has organized and still runs an exclusive Oil &Gas Investment Conference, now in its 10th year. Previous to his investment industry career, Bob was an engineer, group leader, and economic evaluator at the Dow Chemical Company. Bob holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Materials Science from MIT, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Hobbies/Activities include service on Investment & Quality Committees at the HSL’s Senior Life Complex, fundraising for the Pan Mass Challenge (30 year rider), pro bono consulting to local non-profit organizations, and cycling and downhill skiing.
