University of Cape Town
Robert Cameron is a Professor of Public Administration in the Department of Political Studies, University of Cape Town. He has published over 90 journal articles and book chapters on public administration, public service reform and local government. He has also written one book and co-edited two books. This includes articles published in internationally recognised journals such as Public Administration, Public Administration and Development, Local Government Studies, International Review of Administrative Sciences and Development Policy Review. He was an editor of a special edition of International Review of Administrative Sciences looking at Public Administration in Africa. He is a Senior Fellow at the Global Cities Institute, University of Toronto. He was also a member of the South African Municipal Demarcation Board (1999-2004) which demarcated non-racial local government boundaries for the democratic South Africa.
