Robert W. Billingsley teaches "Acquisition of Closely Held Enterprises" in the Second Year MBA program at Darden. He has founded several companies, including Commercial Alcohols, Inc. and BCM Technologies. Billingsley has held senior-level positions with a number of chemical and paper companies, including Reed Paper Ltd., Anglo-Canadian Pulp and Paper Mills Ltd., Hooker Chemical Corp. and Albright & Wilson Ltd.

Billingsley is a director of Reed International Ltd., Bramalea Ltd., Intercontinental Pulp Ltd., Prince George Pulp Ltd. and Olin Canada Ltd.
