Biography

Robbie Allen was Infinia ML’s founding CEO. Under his leadership, the company was recognized as one of the Triangle’s “Best Places to Work” for two years in a row. Robbie is currently a Senior Advisor and trusted thought leader on behalf of the company. You can read his work at MachineLearningInPractice.com.

Previously, Robbie successfully founded, grew, and sold the company Automated Insights. During his tenure as CEO, Automated Insights was named one of the “Best Places to Work” in the region for four years in a row. Before Automated Insights, Robbie was a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco.

Robbie earned his MS in Engineering and Management from MIT and is currently completing his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Robbie owns six patents and has authored eight books. When he’s not working, inventing, or bragging about his UNC Tar Heels, he’s focused on his family and teaching the next generation of game-changing developers.
