Biography
The University of Auckland Business School
Rob Farmer joined Barclays in 1999, training as an accountant. After qualifying in 2001, Rob moved to Barclays Wealth, undertaking performance and risk analysis, providing input into asset allocation and portfolio construction. Rob then joined Barclays Corporate Development, focusing on mergers and acquisitions transactions in the UK. He participated in several deals and origination projects covering asset and sales finance, insurance, retail and commercial banking, private equity funds and private banking. Rob has a Master of Physics with honours from the University of Oxford.
For the last 15 years, Rob has been teaching and training at the world’s leading investment banks, management consultancies and sovereign wealth funds. He specialises in financial analysis, modelling, company valuation, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and financial institutions.
