Rina Deshpande, a teacher, writer, and researcher of yoga and mindfulness practices, grew up with Indian yoga philosophy and rediscovered its value in self-care as a New York City public school teacher. A pioneer in online instruction, she helped launch the Relay Graduate School of Education, a blended-learning graduate school for K12 teacher training. She continues to share the benefits of yoga across the globe through Yoga Journal, Headspace, and the Huffington Post.
