Richard Rendleman is noted for his work in derivative securities markets, debt markets, stock price reactions to corporate earnings surprises and the statistical properties of PGA Tour golf scores. 

He also is a composer.

Dr. Rendleman served as a visiting professor at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2006 and from 2008-2016.

He received his PhD from UNC-Chapel Hill and his AB from Duke University.
