Bio
Richard Nesbitt is the Chief Executive Officer of the Global Risk Institute for Financial Services since May 2015. Richard Nesbitt is also an Adjunct Professor of the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Mr. Nesbitt is Chair of the Finance Committee for Pan Am Games Toronto 2015, an Advisory Committee member on the Women in Capital Markets Advisory Council, and a member of the Rotman School of Management - Financial Services Advisory Board.
Mr. Nesbitt was Chief Operating Officer, CIBC until he retired from that position in September 2014. From 2004 to 2008 he was Chief Executive Officer of TSX Group having joined TSX as President of TSX Markets in 2001.
Mr. Nesbitt holds a M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MBA from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management and a B.A. (Honours) in Business Administration from The University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business.
