Dr. Richard Huntsinger is a professor, Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Fortune 500 operations executive, and management consultant with broad international experience leading programs and projects in operational excellence, internet-based and agent-based customer service, data analytics, and enterprise software development at organizations like Hewlett-Packard, AT&T, Symantec, Hitachi, Curtiss-Wright, Cisco, and US Department of Energy. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Berkeley Data Analytics Group and lectures on business analytics at the University of California-Berkeley. His current consulting work involves projects to drive process automation in nuclear power plant operations by applying data analytics and sensor technology to equipment performance monitoring. Other recent projects include electricity demand forecasting in smart electric grid networks and enterprise data warehouse optimization in high-tech and telecom operations.

Dr. Huntsinger is a strategy and technology advisor to several companies and a frequent guest speaker in industry, academia, and government.

Dr. Huntsinger earned his PhD in Engineering & Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University; MBA degrees from University of California-Berkeley and Columbia University, honors; and MSc and BSc degrees in Computer Science from California State University, honors. He holds ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt and PMI Project Management Professional certifications.
