My background is in (applied) mathematics, but I specialise in the field of fluid mechanics. More specifically, the stability of fluid flows and asymptotic/computational methods. I am particularly interested in: (i) geophysically or industrially relevant flows , (ii) boundary layers and (iii) exact reductions of the Navier-Stokes equations and their role in ''real'' geometries.
