Center for Creative Leadership

Rich has designed and delivered leadership development programs spanning a wide array of industries including high tech, data & analytics, government, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, retail, manufacturing, and non-profit. Additionally, Rich has worked with clients in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia to develop leaders ranging from first-line supervisors to C-Suite Executives.

Before joining the Center, Rich was with T-Mobile USA, responsible for leadership and organization development during a time of explosive growth and cultural change within the company and the industry. Prior to evolving into individual and organization development, Rich had a long career as an energy systems engineer and project manager for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects with the Southern California Gas Company, the Washington State Energy Office, and the US Department of Energy.

Rich is a Senior Faculty member at CCL’s San Diego campus. He is primarily responsible for leading the design and delivery of custom leadership development programs for CCL’s global clients. Rich’s specific area of interest is designing leadership development programs that have a societal benefit in a way that allows companies to develop their leaders while they changes lives around the world.

Rich holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and a master’s of arts in holistic health education. His graduate work combined training in education and communication with the study of holism and how it applies to individual, group, and organizational well-being.
