Ricardo Castrillo has been appointed the new CEO of the pharmaceutical company Ferrer in Spain, after more than 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
With a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona and an MBA from ESADE Business School, Ricardo specializes in Marketing, having completed various national and international programs at different business schools. In addition, he completed a General Management program at the SDA Bocconi School of Management (Milan).
Castrillo began his professional career in the pharmaceutical industry at the company Ipsen Pharma, where he held various positions locally and internationally, reaching the position of Key Account Manager Director & Business Director. Before joining Ferrer, he was director of the Special Care and Rare Diseases and Consumer Health Business Units at Chiesi. He also highlights his experience as an associate professor in the Marketing Management master's degrees at EADA Business School and his activity as a speaker in the field of innovation and corporate intrapreneurship.
At the international level, its corporate responsibilities stand out in the area of Oncology and Endocrinology, from Ipsen; and his participation as a member of the Chiesi company's Digital Innovation Corporate Committee (DISC).
Ricardo Castrillo -who will report directly to the CEO of Ferrer, Mario Rovirosa- appreciates the trust that Ferrer has placed in him and accepts the challenge of running the company in Spain with the enthusiasm and firm commitment to continue its business project. “It is an honor to have the opportunity to join the exciting project that Ferrer represents at this time.
