Biography

I started working at the Centre on the Dynamics of Ethnicity (CoDE) after completing my PhD in early 2017. My PhD research looked at the descriptive and substantive representation of ethnic minorities, specifically in the UK, in the House of Commons. I currently work as a research associate with CoDE an ESRC funded research organisation, continuing my work researching MPs attitudes to race and race relations.

I completed both my bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations and my MSc in Social Change at The University of Manchester. I co-run a PhD, early career network the Social and Political Inequalities Research Cluster www.twitter.com/SocPolResearch which brings together researchers from across disciplines interested in marginalised groups and inequalities.
