Leonard N. Stern School of Business

Rebecca Hellerstein is a Senior Economist in the International Research section of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which she joined in 2003 after earning a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California at Berkeley. Her research interests are in international finance and trade, and cover the dynamics of current-account adjustment as well as the impact of volatility in exchange rates and other asset prices on real economic adjustment and welfare in open economies.
