Zicklin School of Business

Ray LaManna is currently Lecturer and Deputy Chair of the Larendra Paul Loomba Department of Management at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York. Mr. LaManna has extensive experience in the human resources field. Ray has held positions as Director of Human Resources at the Parish of Trinity Church on Wall Street, Human Resources Director of Integrated Resources Inc., a diversified financial services firm, where he was responsible for all employee relations, recruitment and compensation functions as well as HR positions at Wells Fargo Bank and JP Morgan Chase.

Prof. LaManna holds advanced degrees in theology, psychology and adult education (from Teachers College/Columbia University). In addition, Ray is the owner of his own human resources consulting firm, specializing in employee relations, training and coaching.

Ray has also been actively involved in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as national chairperson of the Management Practices committee. He was also national Subject Matter Expert for the 2014 version of Module 1 of the Learning System-Business Management & Strategy. He has spoken at the HR/NY monthly meetings and SHRM pre-convention and regional seminars on HR and management issues and holds life certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
