Raymond R. Eshraghi, is the president and CEO of Microcell Corporation as well as the inventor of Microcell’s fuel cell technology. A Chemical Engineer, Eshraghi has over 27 years of extensive experience bringing products from early stage development to commercialization levels. Eshraghi, who founded Microcell Corporation in July of 2000, has expanded the company’s investor and partnership portfolio from its initial investor, Advanced Energy to include Pepco Holdings, Progress Energy , Dominion Energy, American Electric Power, Duke Energy and NC Electric Cooperatives, as well as component suppliers and nationally reputable integrators. Prior to working at Microcell, Eshraghi spent fourteen years at the world class British Petroleum Research and Development Center where he was responsible for advancement of several products from early research and development stages to the commercialization stage. Eshraghi also worked for four years at Advanced Energy Corporation as a Senior Engineering Consultant. Eshraghi has also served in the role of technical advisor to a global corporate consortium and management of international corporations. He is the author of over forty technical reports and publications, holds a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering and 23 patents. He is frequently an invited speaker at national conferences and seminars.
