Randall Chamberlain

Randall Chamberlain is a solo practitioner in immigration law, with experience and expertise in family-based immigration, including same-sex marriage-based petitions; employment-based immigration, especially extraordinary ability-based petitions; and asylum, including asylum based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and HIV status. He has an A.B. in public policy from Brown University (1990), a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (1993), and an M.I.A. from Columbia University (1999). Before becoming an immigration lawyer, he worked as a fundraiser for international nongovernmental organizations including Human Rights Watch and Action Against Hunger. He is co-chair of the EOIR/OPLA/Asylum Liaison Committee of the New York Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is a member of the LGBT Rights Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the Advisory Committee for the LGBT Rights Program at Human Rights Watch, and the Board of Directors of Asia Catalyst.
