Biography

Ran (Alan) Zhang is Assistant Professor at Department of Information Systems, College of Business, City University of Hong Kong. His research interests lie at the intersection of IS and Marketing. His current research primarily focuses on IT business value, online advertising and online markets, and business analytics. His works have been accepted in the prestigious IS journal and international conference proceedings. His teaching interests include business analytics, block chain application, e-commerce, and IT management. He is committed to bring in hands-on skills to the class and stimulate interest and appreciation of the transformative effects of information technologies.
