He has been a member of the International Department of Banca Catalana, Manager of the Joan Miró Foundation and of the Municipal Music Institute of Barcelona, Assistant to the Commissioner for the defence of Civil Rights of Barcelona City Council, Office Manager of the Spanish member of the European Court of Auditors, Director of the UNESCO Centre of Catalonia and Office Manager of the Minister of Economics and Finance of the Generalitat (Autonomous Government) of Catalonia.

He is the author of the books Religió i religions (1995) and El diàleg interreligiós (2007).

He is one of the Co-ordinators of ESADE''s "Vicens Vives Programme". He also collaborates on the management of ESADE''s "Leadership and Democratic Governance" Chair. He is a member of ESADE''s Religious Attention Service.

He joined ESADE in April 2000.
