Biography

Rahn joined Vanderbilt in 2004 with experience in corporate library settings including two Fortune 100 companies. Her background includes the executive search industry, patent and chemistry library research for a polymer company, and economic development for an electric utility. She also owned a successful information management consulting firm for five years. This gives Rahn a deep understanding of the business world and how it works in a number of industries. Her Owen focus is on connecting people quickly with the information they need. Rahn''s claim to fame is being the original researcher/writer for CNN Headline News FACTOIDS. She loves living in Nashville after spending 26 years commuting in Atlanta''s traffic.
