RAFFAELE SECCHI, Dean of the LIUC Business School, is Ordinary Professor of Economics and Printing Management at LIUC – Università Cattaneo.

His area of competence is Operations and Supply Chain Management, with a particular focus on Lean Management and Process Improvement, although he has an industrial impression and services.

Currently, it is appropriating the theme related to the digitalization of the manufacturing process and the impact of Industry 4.0 technology on its aziendali process. He is coordinating a research on the theme of Digital Manufacturing Readiness and is involved in a research on the impact of the digitalization of his company leaders.

He has planned and directly numerous executive training programs. He has participated in numerous initiatives of training, research and consultation with experts of primary importance such as Pirelli, Fiat, Ferrari, Iveco, Whirlpool, Xerox, Poste Italiane, Unicredit Group, H3G, Sacmi, Helsinn, Merck, GSK, Chiesi, Bosch, ABB, Barilla, Lavazza, Granarolo, Poltrone Frau Group, B&B, Piquadro, Bulgari.

He was the Director of the Unit Operations & Technology Management of the Sda Bocconi from 2013 to 2016. He was the official teacher of the EMBA, EMBA Serale, EMBA Week-end of the Sda Bocconi School of Management. E’ stato editor per SDA Bocconi della case collection internazionale ECCH – The Case Center from 2011 to 2015.

In the area of Lean Management activities, there has been another occasion to carry out over 50 gemba walks without stability in Giappone di Toyota, Honda, Daikin, Denso, and negli stabilimenti europei and italian di Porsche, Pirelli, FCA, Whirlpool, Ducati, Merck, Electrolux , Borg Warner Morse Tec, Uniflair, Cefla Finishing and Dentale, Aermacchi, Brembo, ABB Sace, Unilever.
