Priyanka Dasgupta

A seasoned academic with 20 years experience in higher education, proficient in e-learning and digital education. In the last 20 years, Dr. Dasgupta has taught in the US, Singapore and the UAE. While at Purdue, she designed the first Communication Studies course for online delivery and piloted it in 2003. Since then, she has designed and developed several courses for face to face and online delivery, including those in Persuasion, Corporate Communication and Digital Marketing. At HCT, she has also served as the Program Chair for Dubai campuses where she managed day to day Divisional operation matters. Her non academic experience includes a role with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade (MOFAT), Republic of Korea where she was responsible for publishing white papers and authoring all formal communication including press releases.
