Biography:
Pierrick GOMEZ is Associate Professor of Marketing at NEOMA BS and Director of the Specialised Master in Corporate Communication. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences and graduated from the Université Paris-Dauphine. His research focuses on the role of external and cultural factors in food behaviour and the effectiveness of health communication. He has published in leading national and international academic journals such as Journal of Consumer Psychology, Appetite, Food Quality and Preference, Marketing Letters, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Recherche et Applications en Marketing and Décisions Marketing. He has also published in nutrition and public health journals such as Nutrition Today and Revue d'Epidémiologie et de Santé Publique. His research has been awarded by the Marketing Science Institute (MSI Must Read from 2015), the Academy of Marketing Science (M. Wayne Delozier award for best conference paper 2012), Consult’in France – Syntec Stratégie & Management (Finaliste du Prix académique de la Recherche en Management 2016), Emerald (Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2016) and ANRT (CIFRE PhD fellowship). He currently serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for Journal of Consumer Psychology, Plos One, Marketing Letters, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Journal of Consumer Policy, Public Health Nutrition, Décisions Marketing et Recherche et Applications Marketing. He is also a member of the scientific council of Fondation Ramsay Générale de Santé. Before joining NEOMA BS, he was Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Institut Supérieur de Gestion and Consumer Science Manager at Danone Nutricia Research.
