Biography

Professor Pian Shu joined Scheller in 2017. Her current research focuses on the origin, development, and deployment of innovative and entrepreneurial talent. Her research projects examine different populations of innovators and the demand-side forces, such as globalization, that could influence the supply of innovators and entrepreneurs.

She received a Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in mathematics and mathematical economics from Colgate University.

Prior to joining Scheller, Professor Shu was an assistant professor at Harvard Business School from 2012 to 2017 and a visiting scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management from 2016 to 2017.
