Fisher College of Business
Petra Vokata joined The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in 2019 as an Assistant Professor of Finance. Her research interests include household finance, financial innovation, and consumer financial protection. Her research has focused on the benefits of retail financial innovations, the impact of consumer financial regulation, and the effects of investment scams on its victims. Her work has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics.
Vokata holds a Ph.D. in finance from Aalto University School of Business, where her dissertation has been awarded the Highest Quality Dissertation Award. During her studies, she was a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. She teaches Investments to Fisher undergraduate students.
