Dr. Zimetbaum did his residency, chief residency and fellowship in cardiology/cardiac electrophysiology at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He practices clinical electrophysiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital where he is the Associate Chief of the Cardiovascular Division, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; Richard and Susan Smith Chair of CV Medicine & Professor at Harvard Medical School. His research interests involve the clinical management of cardiac arrhythmias and he directs the ECG and Arrhythmia Core laboratory at The Baim Institute for Clinical Research.
