Quinlan School of Business
Fr. Wojcik is currently the Chief Strategy Officer / Regional Director for the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Schools and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business. The current Director of the Office for Catechesis and Youth Ministry, Maria H. (Maruja) Sedano, has accepted a new position with a diocese in California and will step down from her archdiocese position on June 30, 2015.
As Director of the Office for Catechesis and Youth Ministry, Fr. Wojcik will coordinate and supervise the various agencies associated with Catechesis and Youth Ministry to help realize the expanding vision of faith formation in the Archdiocese. Fr. Wojcik will remain engaged in the regional planning initiative for the Catholic schools until the implementation phase begins.
Fr. Wojcik was ordained in the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2008. He served as Associate Pastor at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Wilmette for four years until 2012 when he was assigned as a Resident at Saint Clement Parish in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
In addition to his roles with the Office of Catholic Schools and Loyola University Chicago, Fr. Wojcik serves as chaplain at the Lurie Children’s Hospital. Fr. Wojcik was a Senior Lecturer in Leadership and Teamwork at the Leadership Institute at Regina Dominican High School in Wilmette and was the Lead Catholic Priest and Corporate Catholic Ministry Coordinator for Adventist Health Care System - Adventist Hospital in LaGrange. He has also served as Healthcare Systems Coordinator and Chaplain at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. Fr. Wojcik has served on the Steering Committee and has been an Accreditation Board Member for the University of St. Mary of the Lake and has served as Executive Secretary of the Priest Council.
Fr. Wojcik holds a Master of Business Administration with a Focus in Strategy from Kellogg School of Management in Evanston and a Master of Divinity in Theology from the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein. In addition, he participated in the Strategy, Management and Consulting Certification Program at Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Fr. Wojcik holds his Bachelor of Arts in Ethics and Human Behavior from Catholic University of Lublin in Lublin, Poland. He also holds a Certification in Bioethics from Georgetown University and a Certification in Catholic Bioethics from the National Catholic Bioethics Center.
