Biography

I am a native of Edinburgh, and studied for all my degrees at the University of Edinburgh from 2003-2012, finally completing my PhD thesis in November of 2012. After a brief period in the wilderness, I was appointed as a Career Development Fellow at the School of History, Classics and Archaeology in the University of Edinburgh in September 2013, which was followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship there which ran from June 2014 to August 2015. I joined the University of Manchester in September 2015 as a Lecturer in Roman History.
