Biography

Bristol Business School

Peter is a leader in sustainable development and has degrees in environmental science and economics. His research explores environmental and energy challenges and governance using empirical evidence based research as well as conceptual and theory based research. I make use of a range of theory including institutional economics in combination with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research sometimes involves engagement with government and non-governmental organisations and industry. My research interest is to understand the transition and governance solutions required in bringing about economies that embody greater levels of environmental sustainability at local and global levels.
