Biography
Professor Li earned her Ph.D. in Accounting & Information Systems at Rutgers University. Her research interests are in the areas of accounting information systems and municipal debt markets. Her research has been published in Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Information Systems, Financial Research Letters, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, and International Journal of Production Research. She has presented at many national and international conferences. Professor Li has received several research related awards including the Best Paper Award from the Government and Nonprofit section at the 2017 AAA Annual Meeting and the Outstanding Dissertation Award from the Accounting Information Systems section at the 2017 AAA Annual Meeting. Her research has also been featured in Columbia Law School Blue Sky Blog. She also enjoys teaching accounting classes such as Accounting Information System.
